Biographical Information:
Jolene was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on December 3, 1950 and lived there with her airline executive parents until they returned stateside in 1953.  She was raised in West Chester, PA, graduating from high school there.  She left home to become an exchange student in Sweden where she learned fluent Swedish and traveled extensively before returning to the states.  Over the years since her exchange student experience, Jolene has maintained her fluency in Swedish and has added to that Norwegian and Danish.

Jolene completed her college education at the University of Houston in elementary education in 1974.  After having taught several years in the Houston area, she returned to   the University of Houston, Bates College of Law and completed her law degree in 1983. 

Jolene has three grown children: Sebastian (an architecture student in Puerto Rico), Andreas (employed by Aker SubSea in Norway) and Jenevieve (a Harvard law graduate, employed by Foley Hoag in Boston, MA).
